She can definitely find some old fans and other scrap electronics in the maintenance area that she can salvage for parts such as scrap metal, electric wires, and nuts and bolts. There are some old dulled knives in the kitchen that could be sharpened with time, as well as old mop and broom handles that can be repurposed.

She can also find some spare ammo hidden away in the cleaning supply room, oddly enough. No guns, but some apparently long ago hoarded ammo.

For the cave in, it's just bits of metal wall and rocks/dirt. Shifting too much without planing will result in more of the rocks tumbling in.
