Azula was not normally one for sharp and sudden kneejerk reactions...but with how hideous this thing was she found herself taking up a different more aggressive stance and posing with her palm open and the other in a fist.

Only then did she remember that she couldn't use her bending here and she felt foolish. Almost more foolish then disgusted.

But no, disgust won out.
