1st Team Meeting
WHO: Azula and any vault dwellers who show up.
WHERE: The Rec Room
WHEN: Three hours after her annoucement.
WHAT: Azula's "War Council" to disseminate information and introductions...also snacks.
WARNINGS: Possible discussions of violence and/or dark backstories.
Azula had attended a number of war meetings growing up as well as social affairs for meeting with important members of the public or military. This was different for a number of reasons, the largest being that this was a place no one seemed to have any respect for her title.
But she could handle that. It had taken her half a month to come to terms with it but here the title "Princess" was only as important as she made it.
Unfortunately that meant having to play "Nice" having to bite her tongue and not get frustrated when she wasn't catered to. That would have been harder for her two years ago, and impossible a year ago.
But here we were, with her waiting patiently near the entrance to the Rec Room to greet people as they came in. Oh how far she'd fallen.
"Come in, help yourself to some snacks. We'll get started soon."

If they do? Well, at that point, he'll help Jiro disassemble the thing with a pool cue. He isn't that interested in having an unpredictable robot with an energy pistol zipping around the Vault taking potshots.

"Okay. So what do we have to do to get this expedition thing set up? What does he want fixed in the vault?"
no subject
He quirks a brief smile. "I can push if it takes too long."
no subject
"Reports about the vault systems or reports about us?"
Have they let too much slip to the other three robots by considering them allies?
no subject
"Good question! He made it sound like the former, but I'd be careful what you said to the locals.
I would not be surprised if they're programmed to obey authority."
no subject
Jiro's opinions are somewhat informed by coming directly from a 'do what we say or else' situation. Right now, his default isn't trusting anything at its face value.

Yunlan shrugs, and adds, "Not unless we've got that authority and those codes. Even then, I'd wonder about backdoors set up by whatever company made this place. Vault-Tec, right?"
If he's remembering that introductory video correctly. He's got a good memory for detail, but he'd been... distracted at the time.
no subject
He remembers it because it's simple and to the point.
"You got codes for some things, right? Opening doors, computer systems? Maybe there's a pattern and we can, or Saya can, figure out other likely codes?"
Is that even how it works?
no subject
He'd prefer opening the front door, especially with the option to close it again if outside turns out to be less than safe (the giant mutant rats are a hint about what things might look like on the surface, he suspects.) But he's starting to get claustrophobic enough that he'll take almost any way out.

Jiro's on the same page with getting the fuck out of here; he's losing the last bits of patience already and he's formulating a back-up plan.
no subject
He gives Jiro a thoughtful nod. It's good they're on the same page there. The kid's not bad -- just volatile, and Yunlan's fairly sure he needs someone to keep an eye on him or he'll blow shit up out of frustration. He and Azula aren't too different that way.
