1st Team Meeting
WHO: Azula and any vault dwellers who show up.
WHERE: The Rec Room
WHEN: Three hours after her annoucement.
WHAT: Azula's "War Council" to disseminate information and introductions...also snacks.
WARNINGS: Possible discussions of violence and/or dark backstories.
Azula had attended a number of war meetings growing up as well as social affairs for meeting with important members of the public or military. This was different for a number of reasons, the largest being that this was a place no one seemed to have any respect for her title.
But she could handle that. It had taken her half a month to come to terms with it but here the title "Princess" was only as important as she made it.
Unfortunately that meant having to play "Nice" having to bite her tongue and not get frustrated when she wasn't catered to. That would have been harder for her two years ago, and impossible a year ago.
But here we were, with her waiting patiently near the entrance to the Rec Room to greet people as they came in. Oh how far she'd fallen.
"Come in, help yourself to some snacks. We'll get started soon."

[ Jill is sure that she'll be made use of and hopefully she can be of aid in a way that will move them all forward. She should be vigilant to ensure things run smoothly, but it's hard to know the best way to do that. She suspects busting through a wall or two might be the way to go, but even if she could bust some it's likely they're beneath ground... hm. ]
Likewise. [ She takes his wrist and heel of palm, clasping rather than shaking. Brief, but professional. ] I've looked into it a bit and I'm not sure how much I can do, but I'm not about to give up.

With a group this small, he'll hold off on trying to do that unless a whole lot of bad ideas start popping up.]
Saya and I busted open the Overseer's office a few days ago. There's a working robot in there who claims he's got the Overseer's authority, and offered to 'authorize' expeditions up top if we get things cleaned up to his liking in here. You know -- you're the only one here with American military credentials I've heard of so far. You might be able to try bonding with him.

Jill lets her hand fall to the side, settling it against her hip. ]
So, I try to buddy up and we get cleaning? Christ, I'm not even sure where we can dispose of some of the garbage in here... or what to clean with. [ She vaguely looks to the side, as if she expects to see a smear of aged and dried blood on the walls. ] Hell of a mess. Nothing to lose, right?

But, worst case, I can at least haul garbage away. There's some pretty big rat holes we might be able to use for disposal. And I hear Chocolat's got some cleaning supplies she's been using.

[ Robots, though... That's a new one. She's dealt with technology before, but it was never sentient, even programmed sentience. That was all far-off future, if even, and fiction to her. The tactic she's leaning toward is treating it (him?) like any other human being rather than a machine.
If only Quint were here. He'd just reprogram its parameters or some jargon like that and get it to work for them instead. ]
I don't mind hauling properly, either. I was starting to put skeletons in an empty side room. Figure especially since new people are showing up somehow that it might be best to get rid of that first. Nothing says we're all trustworthy and they're safe like human remains, huh? [ Jill nods as she carries on, vaguely moving her other hand while she talks. ] Good to know. Hope it's gallons of industrial type. Otherwise we might have to figure something else out. I can create bombs and poisons, but I'm not sure how well I'll do mixing for cleaners...

[He also wouldn't know where to start mopping a floor, but there's no need to make himself look too pathetic right away. Fake it till he makes it! A perfectly valid life choice.]
Human remains in a side room beat human remains lying around on the floor, but I'd rather get them buried respectfully! Not that I'm superstitious or anything, but this place is haunted enough without throwing a bunch of corpses out with the trash. Or we could cremate 'em, I guess.
[He shrugs, absently.] Contingent on whatever we manage to shake out of ol' Simmons, of course. Let me know if you wind up getting on his good side!
